Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full-time role of Trades Assistant.
Reporting directly to the Plant and Fleet Coordinator, the Trades Assistant at the Garage Workshop is responsible for helping and supporting the mechanics, assisting where required in other infrastructure areas and assisting with the maintenance of worksites and equipment. The position is required to successfully undertake all designated work tasks.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and independently as required. You will have recent relevant work experience, good interpersonal and computer skills and a commitment to the delivery of quality service. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to their work.
