Broken Hill City Council has an exciting career opportunity working within our Project Delivery team as a Cadet Civil Engineer.
Reporting directly to the Director Infrastructure & Environment, you will gain essential engineering, technical and professional skills within a local government context. You will be provided with a comprehensive learning experience, allowing you the application of theoretical knowledge in a practical experience across various engineering-related functions.
We are seeking an employee enthusiastic about pursuing a career in civil engineering. You will complete study in civil engineering while gaining practical experience working in the role as a cadet. You have experience working within a team and have a good understanding of customer service principals. The successful candidate will have proven ability to communicate well with others, have high-level Microsoft Office skills and take a proactive approach to their work and study.
