Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full-time role of Strategic Asset Management Coordinator.
Reporting directly to the Director Finance and Commercial, this position is to provide strategic asset management advice, planning and scoping in support of better asset management. This pivotal management team takes responsibility for the collection, evaluation, and analysis of asset performance data, underpinning all asset maintenance and lifecycle decisions.
You will be primarily responsible for the integrity of the BHCC collected asset information and its availability for access through the Civica System and I Am Omni (our Asset Management Systems).
Following ISO55001 guidelines and best practice you will review, plan and provide input into forward maintenance planning to improve efficiencies and reduce operating costs. You will support lifecycle projects and provide asset maintenance advice to support the principles of the Asset Management Policy and Strategy. The role is critical in the continued development and implementation of the Councils Asset Management Plans. Short term, long term and five-year planning will be a requirement.
We are seeking a highly motivated person that will provide technical leadership and development of technical capability, to achieve the optimal balance of performance, cost and risk of our physical assets. The successful candidate, as a strong relationship builder with exceptional people management skills, strong analytical skills and resilience, will need to thrive in a challenging environment.
The ability to communicate asset performance information and provide sound advice in a form non-technical users may utilise to make better asset management decisions, will be highly regarded.
